Critter Round-Up

The critters have escaped, and the barnyard is in chaos! It’s up to you to quickly corral the animals in this puzzle-action challenge. You’ll have to mend fences in a hurry to keep all the critters safe and satisfied. But the fun doesn’t stop with the farmland; more than 50 challenging levels take you to several exotic locations, including the outback, the icy Arctic and more. There’s even a series of minigames for when the critters get you down: Snowball Soccer, Predator Rampage, Chicken Catch and Fence Trap. Up to four players can compete or cooperate as the critters run wild. So roll up those sleeves and grab a friend-those critters won’t catch themselves.

Players: 4

Man I really can’t see myself dropping money on these Wiiware games if I can’t try them 1st like Xbox Live Arcade games. What do you guys think?

I know what you mean, but I actually bought LostWinds and had a pretty good time with it although I feel it was way too short. I took my sweet ass time and it still only lasted about 3 1/2 hours.

How often do you get to try demos of disc-based games that you’d have to buy in stores? Don’t you just check reviews online, maybe get an idea of what it’s like, and then decide to purchase it? How are these WiiWare titles any different?

Man, people on the internet just complain for the sake of complaining, it seems. Nintendo has released 9 WiiWare/VC titles over the past two weeks, and people will STILL find a reason to gripe.

Complaining aside, it’s just good business to offer demos or more in-depth video previews, which the Nintendo channel seems to be trying to do. Even i it’s a 5 minute demo, people are more likely to purchase something if they get some hands on time. That’s why services like Gamefly are pretty much a saving grace. With so many poorly developed games these days, it’s more comforting when you have the option to test drive before you drop your (or your parents’) hard earned money on it.

They are capable of using the Nintendo channel to allow you to try demos, look at the DS Download service! It’s great, more of that! PLEASE?! Seriously, even demos of first party games would be a huge step up. Since most 3rd party games are… not so good. And I know focusing on that would not be a good thing. But having demos of ANY game for free with a wii would be amazing and a step to showing that nintendo stands by its own games.
