Video Demo: Wonder Boy in Monster World

The video demo for the Virtual Console this week is the Sega game Wonder Boy in Monster World. The video this week is a bit longer than the others since there wasn’t a whole lot of action in the first part of the game. One thing I do suggest is that once you get the ocarina you should write down the button sequences for the songs since they are easy to confuse with other songs. No use in wasting more time, so watch the movie after the jump.

Anyway, cute game and all, but it seems a little slow pace for my taste…I was wondering though…this game came out the same year as A Link to the Past, right? So which one had the ocarina idea first? Or was the ocarina in one of the other two Zelda games as well…
