Splatterhouse is a beat ‘em up side-scrolling game originally released in 1988. You play as a college student Rick, who has just been forced to take shelter in an old mansion with the nick name of Splatterhouse. Inside he and his girlfriend, Jennifer, are attacked and she is captured. Rick awakes from being knocked unconscious to find the Terror Mask stuck onto his face and must now his way through seven horror filled stages while armed with shotguns and cleavers. As Rick you must defeat all of the bosses, rescue Jennifer and escape from the Splatterhouse.
