They released games that aren’t part of series and you bitched about them too. I take it since you don’t want series games, you don’t want Earthbound, Mario, Zelda, or Castlevania games either right?
I already own the Mega Man Anniversary Collection on GameCube, so I don’t need to download them. But with that said, I AM glad they’re releasing them on Virtual Console; they’re classics and deserve to be played by new generations of gamers.
Although, I am a little intrigued about how they plan on handling Mega Man 8 when the time comes since it wasn’t originally available for ANY of the systems that Virtual Console currently supports. It would drive me nuts if I were downloading the series like this only to have one little gap between 7 and 9 preventing a complete collection. Maybe that’s just me though…

My point is why release the games in the series so close together?
i do agree they should be released because they are classics but not so close.
they could have released them a month apart along with other nes games.
