Monday May19, 2008 7:21 am in Quick Blip

Nintendo is back with three new games this week, although unfortunately only one is a virtual console game, the other two being WiiWare games. The new virtual console game this week is: SKYKID for the Nintendo; the two new WiiWare games are: Critter Round-Up and Star Soldier R.

Is anyone else kind of… well… disappointed? I mean sure 3 games are good… when I care about them. When is the N64 going to get some real love? When are we gonna get a bigger assortment of Wiiware games? This weekly release schedule of crud is beginning to annoy me. Nintendo needs to stop stringing us around and release more substational games.

I agree. There are so many classics on all of Nintendo’s older consoles and week after week they release more and more garbage. I mean, is Nintendo trying to tick people off?

Furthermore, there is nothing available for WiiWare that has even remotely grabbed my interest. I’d rather pay $50 for a new game with more substance (or at least $10 for VC game that I know will be worth my time) than anything available on WiiWare despite it’s price. I mean, if I don’t end up liking it, I just wasted my money. I’m extremely disappointed lately.

Well, FFCC MLAAK (should’ve just said Final Fantasy) and Lost Winds look interesting, but the loaded amount of addons to make FF a full game make me kind of sick. And I hear Lost Winds is extremely short but amazing. NOT TO MENTION, the real ticker about lost winds was I was excited to hear about it being 2 player, but then after hearing virtually nothing about it, I soon was turned off the subject. The one brief mention of it was that it was similar to Mario galaxy, which did not make me excited but sad. GIVE ME 64 GAMES!!!
