It’s another week and another set of virtual console games have been released by Nintendo. The two new virtual console games this week are Break In for the TurboGrafx-16 and Star Parodier for the TurboGrafx-16 CD-ROM. The lone game on the WiiWare this week is Strong Bad Episode 1: Homestar Ruiner.

There’s always an unending supply of whinning 12 year olds on the internet ready to bitch about every game that doesn’t include a character from smash bros. in it.

    Idiots.

As forthese games, I’m psyched to see Star Parodier. Glad to see mroe Turbo cD stuff getting love.

Okay…I do fell offended by Nintendo lately. First, it has been a very long time since I purchased anything good on the Virtual Console…Is it so much to ask for RPG, Goldeneye, Killer Instinct, or something. Yeah I know Rare owns the company and Rare is with Microsoft, but Nintendo could “make it work” with Microsoft. Next, Nintendo releases all of these “toys” to go with the Wii, what games can we use them for? I got the wheel, the gun, and yeah…Useless. Last, With the exception of Animal Crossing, what games do we really have coming out for the Wii in the next year? I didn’t see a Zelda, Star Fox, Mario, Metroid, or anything…We got Animal Crossing and that’s it…I liked Animal Crossing and I am pumped for that, but Nintendo has been sticking it to its loyal fans lately. This Virtual Console is just sad…If they can find a way to release Goldeneye, I will never complain again. I want to play Goldeneye on my Wii, Big screen, and all. I seriously will accept anything Nintendo ever releases if they release Goldeneye.

Come on TJM…..you know dam well if they release Goldeneye you will be bitching about the next game on your list you want that was not released the following week.
were all guilty of that… i gave Nintendo props when they released Bases Loaded for NES. but now im back to complaining since that was the last game i downloaded.

I don’t think everyone whines. Just because some people do doesn’t mean everyone is that childish. I agree with post number 2 on this one, this whining is stupid (and to the guy who called the other guy a geek, doesn’t it strike you as ironic that someone who whines on an internet blog about an old Genesis game is calling someone a “geek”? Seems a bit hypocritical don’t you think?

But back to the games, I’m a bit put off by Strong Bad’s pricing. This is an episodic game, hope it’s not the same price for all episodes, tat would be the cost of a retail game. This is the same thing that happened with Penny arcade, I’m worried about the pricing there too and that’s why I a waiting on it.

Star Parodier, never palyed it. I assume it’s like the old Parodius shooters right? I’ll have to search for videos of it I guess.

Actually John, I wouldn’t ever come to this board again. I don’t even log into VC because of the no Goldeneye release…I find it funny that people complain about complainers…My opinion is that Nintendo is notorious for ripping people off. Yes the Wii is fun, but be honest, there’s like 7 maybe 8 good games for the Wii. Other than those games, we get so much generic games that it’s making me sick. All these people are asking for is a couple of previously Nintendo owned games. You would think Nintendo could handle that…But we not only don’t have these games, but we don’t have a place to request VC games and we don’t have someone answering our questions as to why a game like Goldeneye or Mario RPG won’t be released…

Yes you would TJM…… i have my own “favorite games ” and eventhough there my favorite i do get bored of them alittle. you can only pass a game so many times. its like watching a movie you already seen. Goldeneye is your favorite game but eventually your going to want another game that you really like (everyone does) i do agree Nintnedo should have a place where you can request VC games. at least then they can see what people want and are willing to pay for because lets face it… im sure there not making a killing of VC downloads espically with the shit they have been releasing the last several months.

I have a feeling Nintendo doesn’t want us to have good games at all.

I say again, John, release Goldeneye and I will be happy. Which other game would I like to get? The rest would just be nice surprises whenever they are released. I like the classic games, but what’s getting me is that it seems like Nintendo is not even attempting to release Goldenye. With the exception of the new Animal Crossing, what does Nintendo have in store for its fans? Yes, I would eventually get bored with Goldenye, but since the release of the VC, I have wanted Goldeneye. I wouldn’t get so frustrated, but if Nintendo was to release Goldenye, I would get bored, and then I would purchase the other games that I might not try. I know they will eventually release SMRPG, but I don’t think they are ever going to release Goldenye. As I fan, I take offense to the fact that Nintendo doesn’t give us a chance to get the game…$20, I will pay, $25, I will pay, $30, I will pay. Price doesn’t matter (which is Nintendo’s excuse, it’s a money thing).

I’m kind of sad that they haven’t released Soul Blazer, Illusion of Gaia, or Terranigma on the VC, yet. Those games were epic and they belong on the VC! How does one pass the hint along to Nintendo?
