Virtual Console Releases For April 21 2008

It’s Monday again and I think Nintendo has finally got the right idea in their head, by which I mean they have released some worthy virtual console games this week. Sadly we still aren’t seeing a three game release, but none the less these two virtual console games should satisfy some. This week’s new games are: River City Ransom for the Nintendo and Phantasy Star III Generations of Doom for the Sega Genesis.

decent titles, but nothing really worth my time sadly…
Where the heck is Super Mario Kart?
I was hoping it would come out this week… I’d like to play it, both for naustolgia and because next week I’ll be playing Mario Kart Wii regardless if if they would release it.
You know, I woke up this morning thinking, “They’re gonna release a classic RPG today at last today. I know it!” Well, they released an RPG… not really what I was hoping for though…
Really kinda wanting the Lufia games, Chrono Trigger, Earthbound, Breath of Fire 1, Robotrek, Illusion of Gaia, etc. Come on, Nintendo.
And where’s Kirby Super Star already!?
Hockey for Sega Genesis…….I’m waiting !!!!!!!!
FINALLY a bona fide classic in River City Ransom. Though it doesn’t necessarily make up for the crap lineup of games Nintendo has been popping out recently, it’s good to see a game that is universally acknowledged by a “classic” rather than niche games that only a few really cherished.
Sweet! By releasing Phantasy Star III, it ups the probability that they’ll release Phantasy Star IV, the best traditional RPG on the Genesis, in my mind.
RCR…. BARF!!! lol takes me back.

First off I would like to state that I do not create those particular videos, another site called http://www.mannmade.tv which is run by http://www.gamejew.com creates the videos. The owner of those two sites emails me about newly created videos and I just post the embedded video from YouTube to my site. As for the Mushroom Singdom videos being “shit” that is a matter of personal opinion and I do not care to argue about that, but calling said videos and my site in general anti-semitic is a bit out of line.
The reason for saying that is that as far as I know GameJew, the video creator, is a Jewish man himself and he appears to have much pride in that as well. So one could only come to the conclusion that if a proud Jewish man wants to call himself GameJew, then he should be allowed to do so without any anti-semitism views coming into the equation.
I truly am sorry that you have felt offended, but I do believe that your reasons are a bit unfounded. I only hope that after gaining a more knowledgeable view on the situation you will no longer feel offended.
Who cares if that pussy…”Mike Hunt” is offended?…if he doesnt like this site, dont visit it!!!
