Virtual Console Mondays

The Legend of Kage is a ninja-action game which was originally released in 1985. The objective for the ninja, Kage, is to rescue Princess Kiri from evil doers of the game. Kage must travel through forests, secret pathways, and eventually a castle to rescue the princess. While Kage is traveling he will encounter Red and blue Shinobis, magic monks, fire-using villains, an evil ninja, and the evil samurai warlord. A sword and throwing stars are used by the player to dispatch the enemies found throughout the game.
