Castlevania
Monday April30, 2007 10:28 am in NES
Originally released in 1987, Castlevania practically started the gothic horror style storyline in console games. In Castlevania you play as Simon Belmont, who is a decedent of an age old vampire killing family. The weapon of choice for Simon is the family’s whip known as the Vampire Killer. The game play is that of a standard platformer, with your whip as the main weapons of use it can be upgraded through out the six different levels of the game. You will have to battle against the undead, bats, mermen, and many other enemies while trying to find your way to Dracula’s castle, in order to defeat him and bring peace back to the area.

wow, downloaded it and I already got further than I had ever befor… level 8 rofl. Man, I don’t know why I found this game so hard when I was younger.
Yeah, I got it yesterday as well and only played it a little bit, but I do agree it doesn’t seem near as hard as I thought it was as a kid.
was thinking of getting Kid Icaris on NES (I had the game boy version) cause they say that’s a challenging game.
Yeah, I had heard Kid Icaris is a pretty challenging game, I’ve played it a little bit in the past but don’t really remember too much of it.
