Is it really Thursday already? Yes, I suppose it is, which coincidentally means I must have a new virtual console video demo ready. Well, I do and this week I took a look at Golden Axe, a beat em’ up game for the Sega Genesis. From the first few levels that I’ve played the game is decent and only slightly difficult, but then again I’m quite the novice to this particular title. With that in mind, I suggest you check out this week’s virtual console video demo, just follow the jump.

Video Demo: Bravoman
April 3, 2008 1:17 pm
There isn’t much time to spare, so let’s just jump on into this week’s virtual console video demo. This week I play a TurboGrafx-16 game by the name of Bravoman, which is a beat em’ up game that isn’t too thrilling, as far as I can tell from the first few minutes of game play. The rest of the game may be a bit more fun, but you’ll have to just watch the video and choose to find out for yourself or not. So follow the jump and check out the latest virtual console video demo!

Sorry everyone, no April Fools here, unless you consider Nintendo’s consistent releasing of not-so-great virtual console games so far this year to be one big joke on us all. None the less, GameJew has put out a new singing virtual console review so check it out after the jump; I’d also suggest taking his words of advice about this week’s games.

I got the word last night that the latest Mushroom Singdom video has been posted, but didn’t get a chance to put it up on the site. So check out MannMade’s (GameJew) latest view on the newest virtual console games that were released this week. Also, be sure to check back on Monday to see what new games Nintendo releaseson the virtual console!
Video Demo: Kid Icarus
March 27, 2008 12:17 pm
What a year so far for the virtual console, I mean seriously it has been rather disappointing so far and from comments on this site alone I don’t think I’m the only one to feel this way. So because of this slump in the virtual console arena I’m guessing everyone is enjoying Super Smash Bros: Brawl, or just replaying some of the old classics like this week’s featured video demo, Kid Icarus on the Nintendo. There isn’t a whole lot to say about the game that the video doesn’t convey, but if you have not played the game before, be prepared for a very tough game. With that said, I urge you to follow the jump and check out this week’s virtual console video demo!
Video Demo: Super Mario 64
March 20, 2008 4:03 pm
Looks like another Thursday, so that must mean that I have another virtual console video demo ready right? Well, if you said yes, then you would be quite correct. This week I decided on Super Mario 64 for the Nintendo 64, of course, to play on the virtual console. If you haven’t played it before you should feel ashamed of yourself! But in all seriousness check out this week’s video demo after the jump!
