Star Fox 64 is a flying shooter game which was released almost ten years ago. You must take control of your Arwing and complete fifteen different missions before reaching a final showdown with Andross on the planet Venom. When flying there is a forced progression forward but you can move about the screen to dodge objects and to get a better lock on enemies. One good thing is that you wont be flying alone because you have wingmen that will help you out during each mission, though if you allow a wingman to take on too much damage they will retreat and can only be used after the next mission is accomplished. Aside from the single player portion of the game there is a multiplayer option that allows for four players to join in on the fun.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time was the first Zelda game to enter into the 3D world as well as the first in the series to be released on the Nintendo 64. With an engrossing plot and great game play mechanics Ocarina of Time quickly pulls the player into the realm of Hyrule. As in the other Legend of Zelda games you assume the role of Link, who is thrown into a wild adventure. Your quests will lead you through deserts, forests, amazing mountains, rivers, and thrilling dungeons each with their own unique style and puzzles. Ocarina of Time also marks Link’s first time to have the ability to ride horseback across the lands of Hyrule, which makes for speedy travel.
Mario Kart 64 originally released ten years ago in 1997 is the sequel a SNES best seller, Super Mario Kart. In this quirky racing game you play as Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, Toad, Yoshi, Donkey Kong, Wario, or Bowser and make your way around 20 different tracks with up to four friends. Different racing modes include Mario Grand Prix, Time Trials, Versus mode, and Battle mode all containing intense races that bring back memories of the days of the Nintendo 64. Several new items were added to the arsenal from the previous game and include spiny shells, fake item boxes, and golden mushrooms which all can be found scattered through each track in rainbow colored boxes.
On a bright, sunny day in Mushroom Kingdom, Mario goes to visit the princess, but finds her castle eerily empty. Leaping through pictures hanging from the walls, he enters 15 magical worlds in a quest to collect the 120 Power Stars pilfered by evil Bowser and save the day. The game’s vast worlds teem with daunting obstacle courses, hidden items, puzzles and more than 30 types of enemies. Take advantage of Mario’s large selection of moves, including running, jumping, swimming, stomping, and punching, and even performing a backward somersault! Special caps give him short-lived powers, including the ability to fly. Super Mario 64 features unmatched camera control that makes adventuring in its 3-D world a snap, even for newcomers.
